Research area - ADVANCED HIGH STRENGTH STEELS
I came from Shandong province, China. I got my master degree from Beihang University in 2008. Then I joined Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials (BIAM) as a material engineer. My research area is mainly on microstructure, processing and properties of ultra-high strength steels. At Northwestern University, I will investigate the fine core-shell structure of precipitation and its effects on mechanical properties in UHSS.
I love traveling, to discover the beauty of the world.
Xuyang Wang
Research area - SHAPE MEMORY ALLOYS
My name is Xuyang Wang, a PhD student in Northwestern Polytechnical University from China. I am awarded a scholarship from China Scholarship Council (CSC) as an exchange student. I joined the SRG in 2017, studying Materials design of SMAs.
I enjoy playing basketball, League of Legends (LOL) and cooking. In my spare time, I like watching NBA games.
